GSEC5 15 x 15 Audio Router
This is a portable audio router comprising 2 ‘main modules’, 15 channel
modules and a Power Supply (115 or 230V).
Audio inputs and outputs are all on the sloping rear panel and are bantam jack
sockets in parallel with a 15 way D.
Each channel module has 2 inputs & outputs ‘X’ and ‘Y’ both pairs of inputs and outputs have insert points and are transformer balanced. Both inputs have their own gain controls and small Led PPM for level setting on the front panel. Both the X and Y inputs and outputs can be monitored on the master modules by pressing monitoring switching on the channel modules, and engineering talkback (derived from either a front panel mic or external input (both on the master modules)) can be inserted to either or both X and Y outputs.
A 1kHz ident tone can be sent at a variety of different levels to any of the X or Y outputs. On each channel module there is a selector switch and indicator for routing the audio. This selector switch routes the Y input to an X output, the corresponding X input is routed to the channels Y output. It is possible to route several different channels all to the same channel.
