GS1U-042 High Quality Ident

This mains powered 1U subrack utilises the same identification recording technology as the 2U-007. It has two channels of Identification, each of these channels records a mono signal the output of which is reproduced as a stereo signal. There are three playback modes each one continuously repeated:

One: Up to 25 seconds of speech

Two: Up to 25 seconds of speech followed by 3 seconds of tone.

Three: Up to 25 seconds of speech followed by stereo ‘GLITZ’ Tone.

Each channel has a balanced audio input, this audio input can be switched via a relay to the audio outputs instead of the recorded identification message. Control of the changeover relay is done via a rear panel 9 way 'D' socket, start and stop of playback can also be controlled via this ‘D’ socket.

Monitoring is provided by an inbuilt headphone amp and recording can be done either by a front panel microphone or from an external line level input.
