Type GSWL-SR20 Mic Amps
GENERAL
This is a 2U subrack and can contain up to 16 identical mic amps type GSP52. In
addition each subrack must always contain a mix amp type GSP51. In any system up to 16 of
these subracks may be used. They can accommodate up to 255 mic amps. In a system it is
possible to fit a further two modules namely modules GSP53A or GSP53B. These are designed
especially to provide inputs from Audio Visual and Video Conferencing systems if required.
If these modules are fitted the total number of possible mic amps is reduced to 253.
Each mic amp is intelligent and needs to communicate with the main controller
GSWL-SR22. It is therefore necessary to provide each with a unique address. This is
achieved by giving each subrack an address by means of a DIP switch and each mic amp by
means of its physical position. The DIP switch is located on the mother board and can be
accessed by removing the mic amp in the sixteenth position.
A further two DIP switches are provided to set the addresses for the Audio Visual and
Video Conference modules when fitted. These are accessed by removing the corresponding
module.
